A big bouquet and thank you to all the staff and doctors of Battlefords Union Hospital.
Recently we had an emergency surgery in our family and the staff and doctors at BUH were amazing. We attended the hospital at 9 p.m. and the emergency surgery was scheduled for 1 a.m.
While in the waiting room I listened to many people grumbling about the time they were waiting. I think you are very fortunate to be well enough to grumble compared to the people who were much, much sicker being looked after by the staff behind closed doors. The staff are not sitting around having coffee, they are running steadily.
Remember, if you are in the waiting room you are in much better shape than the people who are being looked after in the emergency area.
Once again a very big thank you to all the staff and doctors in emergency and as well on second floor for the after surgery care.
