Dear Editor
In regards to closing of veterans' service offices, I served in Korea, the Canadian Arctic and NATO Germany and with an airborne regiment (paratrooper) for seven years.
While in Col. Belcher Hospital in Calgary, Alta. for a short time, a Second World War veteran said something I will always remember: "They found the money to send us. Now find the money to take care of us."
