Testosterone is a man's fountain of youth. Unfortunately it decreases with age. These decreases can cause many negative side effects ranging from obesity, brittle bones, muscle loss and even impotence.

There are medications available to increase testosterone levels but there are also many natural ways to increase your testosterone levels. Some of them are as follows:

Lose weight. Excess weight can cause rises in estrogen levels which may cause your testosterone levels to drop.

Don't lose too much too fast. Isn't this great news! Honestly, if you cut your calorie intake too dramatically your body may slow down or stop the production of testosterone because your body attempts to conserve when in a famine.

Avoid fad diets. Especially high protein, low carb diets as they tend to negatively impact your testosterone levels.

Exercise. Using compound movements that work large groups together have a positive effect. Also, the largest testosterone boosts are found when using heavy weights with low repetitions.

Eat often. More good news. A steady supply of healthy calories will help produce testosterone. Key word - "healthy" and remember to stay within your prescribed calorie range for the day.

Drink in moderation. There is no surprise here. Drinking isn't good for your waist line or your testosterone levels!

Rest your body. Make sure you get ample rest between workouts and a full eight hours of sleep at night!

These tips will help you to naturally increase your testosterone levels. They are not only great tips for increasing your testosterone but also generally good rules for everyone to follow when trying to choose a healthier lifestyle.

Say it! Mean it! Do it!
