In regards to "Longboarder on big push across Canada" (Regional Optimist July 18), I would like to clarify the part of the story that says Patricia Boychuk paid for James Osmond's hotel room. This is completely false.
Boychuck contacted us to provide a complimentary room for the night, which we graciously did. Then the following morning she called again, as there were tornado warnings. She asked for a second night, complimentary, which we donated. Nothing was paid for by Boychuk at the hotel.
