Dear Editor
I was saddened to learn of the passing of John Welykochy in early January. Having worked with John on the NDP executive, on numerous election campaigns, and observed his commitment to the Legion and the community, I admired his work ethic, his dedication and his gentle sense of humour. The world is clearly a bleaker place without John in it. Rest in peace my friend, you have earned it.
