Walkways? What about the streets?

Dear Editor Well, just read "Road issues dominate discussions at city council" (Regional Optimist, Sept. 11). It still baffles me and I suppose many of my fellow citizens about priorities at City Hall.

Dear Editor

Well, just read "Road issues dominate discussions at city council" (Regional Optimist, Sept. 11). It still baffles me and I suppose many of my fellow citizens about priorities at City Hall.

They are concerned for walkways! "Are people to use the alleyway?" Yes, "becomes a mud hole" when it rains. So do many other streets right under their noses.

How about the mess in front of the credit union - needs paving. Yes, Henderson drive is a mess so to be noticed someone from council must drive in that area often.

How about the potholes the city never did get around to filling, many in the downtown. These issues are more of a concern than walkways.

There goes another year of neglect and left-wing priorities. It baffles me that when citizens bring up issues that concern their heart, they are placed in the low priority pile.
