A line hit caused a natural gas release at a worksite located half a kilometre north of the community of St. Louis.
ST. LOUIS — SaskEnergy has confirmed a line hit causing a natural gas release at a worksite located half a kilometre north of the community of St. Louis at approximately noon Tuesday. Residents in the area may have heard a loud noise and noticed a large cloud of dust.
SaskEnergy says onsite crews have isolated the line and stopped the release and that repairs will be launched immediately.
There is no risk to the public and currently no impact to gas service, says SaskEnergy.
