RED EARTH CREE NATION - Carrot River RCMP are investigating following a recent vehicle collision.
On June 13 at approximately 10 a.m., Carrot River RCMP received a report of an injured person on Highway 55.
Officers responded and located an adult male, who was taken to the hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious in nature.
Investigation determined the man had been in a motor vehicle collision on Highway 55 near the turn-off to Red Earth Cree Nation. The vehicle left the roadway and entered a creek. The man was able to escape the vehicle and get help from a passerby.
With the assistance of the Carrot River Fire Department, a second man was removed from the vehicle. EMS transported him to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
Police say they do not have updates on their conditions.
