Impaired driving charges laid; lynx spotted and reported to environment officers

UNITY REPORT

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke with the subject of complaint.

CN Police reported a damaged railway crossing arm on Highway 14 near Unity. Reported for information purposes.

Police received a complaint of dogs barking. Members contacted the owner and requested the animals be moved into the residence.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke with the complainant and the subject of complaint who was transported by family members to Saskatoon for assessment.

A 37-year-old man from the Unity area was charge with impaired operation of a motor vehicle during a traffic stop.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in Unity. Reported for information purposes.

Police received a report of a lynx south of Unity. Members notified Saskatchewan Environment and Resource Management.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a family member.

There were also two false alarms and two false 911 calls.

WILKIE REPORT

RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle. Members contacted the registered owner.

Members attended a two-vehicle collision on Highway 14 near Landis. There were no injuries, and no charges were laid.

Police received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction near Wilkie. Reported for information purposes.

There was also one traffic complaint.

MACKLIN REPORT

RCMP received a report of an unwanted individual in a residence. The individual was leaving, and members were not required to attend. Reported for information purposes.

Police received two reports of a deceased moose blocking a driving lane on Highway 17. Members contacted Saskatchewan Environment and Resource Management to remove the animal.

RCMP received a complaint of an indecent act in a business parking lot. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received a complaint of an individual failing to comply with an undertaking, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Police spoke to an individual regarding a family dispute.

RCMP spoke to an individual regarding child custody issues.

Members received a complaint of a building in Macklin not complying with the COVID-19 public health order. A member contacted the complainant who stated they would contact Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Members received a request from Provost RCMP to assist in locating a stolen vehicle.

Police received a report of an abandoned vehicle. Members discovered the vehicle had been stolen from Vermilion, Alta. This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP spoke to an individual regarding a family dispute.

There was also one false 911 call.
