Kerrobert student awarded significant scholarship

Kerrobert Composite School celebratesGrade 12 student, Emery Cholin, as he was announced as runner-up for a significant scholarship.

KERROBERT — Kerrobert Composite School Grade 12 student Emery Cholin was awarded an Agriculture Student Scholarship funded through the Sustainable Canadian Agriculture Partnership.

Emery is finishing Grade 12 now. He is enrolled in the University of Saskatchewan College of Agriculture and Bioresources and will be pursuing a degree in agribusiness. This summer he is returning to work at Simplot (formerly GMacs) in Plenty. His essay for the scholarship application was on regenerative ag.

Cholin is an honour roll student at KCS, earning an outstanding academic achievement at the 2022 Living Sky School Division student hall of fame for having an academic average of 90 per cent and higher. He is also involved in the school's SLC and golf programs and was a team member of the U18AA West Central Wheat Kings.
