RCMP receive several complaints of impaired driver resulting in charges

RCMP received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.

Members spoke to an individual regarding a property complaint.

Police received a report of a fire at a residence. The fire was extinguished by the property owner and was not suspicious in nature.

RCMP received a complaint of disturbing the peace but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

CP Rail reported cows near the railway tracks near Senlac. The owner of the cattle herded the animals back into the pasture.

Police received a report of an individual walking in a rural area with a dog. Members spoke to the animal owner.

Members received a complaint of an individual dumping garbage on private property in a rural area but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP received a complaint of trespassing on rural property. This matter is still under investigation.

CN Police reported two railway crossing malfunctions in Unity this week. Both incidents were reported for information purposes.

Members spoke to an individual regarding a property complaint.

Police received a complaint of trespassing. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning.

A 23-year-old male from the Unity area was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle during a traffic stop.

Members spoke to an individual regarding a mental health concern.

RCMP attended an all-terrain vehicle collision in a rural area near Unity. The vehicle driver sustained minor injuries. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of a break and enter into a residence, but it was unfounded.

Members conducted a  well-being check at the request of a concerned citizen.

An individual turned in a firearm to RCMP to be safely disposed.

There were also three traffic complaints.

Wilkie Report

RCMP received a complaint of unwanted individuals at a residence. Members attended to ensure the individual left the premises.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. The subject of complaint was left in the care of a family member.

RCMP received a complaint of an individual throwing rocks at another person. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning. The complainant requested no further action be taken.

RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle in a rural area near Wilkie. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received a request to keep the peace while an individual retrieved property from a residence.

There were also two traffic complaints.

Macklin Report

RCMP received a complaint of assault. This matter is still under investigation.

A 20-year-old male from Denzil was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle after RCMP received several complaints of an impaired driver.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

There was also one false 911 call.
