Unity hockey player, Kaden Sperle, will be joining the U18 AAA Battleford Stars for the 2024-25 season.

UNITY – Many hockey fans have watched Kaden Sperle make his way from league to league, with his latest accomplishment signing onto the U18 AAA Battleford Stars.

Kaden has been playing since the age of three. He followed the career of Zach Hymen of the Edmonton Oilers, often modelling his own game after the star. He has always had his eye on the next phase of his hockey career.

“I have been eager to join the Stars since my bantam years as it is close to home,” said the player.

The young man says he is excited to be making it to the AAA. His next goal is Junior A.

“I am grateful and extremely exited to have the opportunity to play at the next level,” Kaden adds.

Kaden was also announced as one of the top 80 players of Northern Saskatchewan. Although he was cut from the top 80 during his bantam year, he was able to bounce back and kept working hard. He is the most excited to compete against some of the best talent in the league and showcase his skills for any scouts in attendance.

His parents, Jody and Amber, along with siblings Ayla and Peyson, support him as he makes his way to the Battlefords.

When there is no ice around, Kaden enjoys the off-season by playing baseball, golfing, fishing and going to Atton’s Lake with his friends and family.
