Woman charged with identity fraud during a traffic stop

The weekly policing report for May 3-9 inlcuded RCMP receiving a report of a cat trapped in an abandoned residence.

UNITY REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

A 33-year-old woman from Cole Bay, Sask.was charged with identity fraud during a traffic stop. She was also issued two traffic tickets.

Police received a complaint of an individual damaging property at a residence. This matter is still under investigation.

Members are investigating a complaint of an individual damaging a vehicle.

There were also two traffic complaints.

WILKIE REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of an individual painting graffiti on the Wilkie post office. There are no suspects at this time.

Members spoke to an individual regarding a property purchase.

Police received a complaint of uttering threats but it was unfounded.

RCMP attended the sudden death of a 79-year-old man from the Landis area. The death was deemed not suspicious in nature.

CN Police reported a damaged railway crossing near Reford. Reported for information purposes.

RCMP received a complaint of a dog running loose in Scott. Members located the animal owner and issued a verbal warning.

Members received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

Police are investigating an attempted break and enter into a residence in Landis.

Members assisted an individual in locating transportation.

RCMP received a report of a cat trapped in an abandoned residence. Members notified the town of Wilkie.

There was also one traffic complaint and one false alarm.

MACKLIN REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a residence. Members attended and transported the subject of complaint to another residence.

Police are investigating a fraud complaint.

Members received a complaint of an individual damaging a vehicle but there was insufficient evidence to proceed. Reported for information purposes.

RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious individual driving by a residence. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.

There was also one traffic complaint.
