DARLENE ETHEL BEAUDIN

Our beloved Mom, Grandma, and Nana, Darlene Ethel Beaudin, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Monday, June 23rd, 2025, at the age of 82 years. Darlene had a special love for all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ina Belle and Cecil Parks; her husband, (Armand) Joseph Tremblay; 5 brothers, 5 sisters, 4 sisters-in-law, and 4 brothers-in-law; and her long-time best friend, Jean Nurse. Darlene will be forever missed by her children: Dwain Tremblay (Linda), Carol Tremblay (special friend Derek Szakacs), and Reg Tremblay (Shirley); grandchildren: Carolyn, Tara (Andy), Janelle, Cora-Lee (Derek), Brad (Chaylene), Shelley, Jesse (Meagan), and Jeremy; step-grandchildren, Jordan and Sydney; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Hayden, Raelynn, Ava, Alex, Emme, Hailey, Ryder, and Rochelle. She will be forever remembered by her sister, Maxine Hallborg; sister-in-law, Yvette Tremblay; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She has a special place in her heart for her dear friends: Iris, Barb, Terry, and Marlene.

Darlene was born in Rabbit Lake, SK on November 16th, 1942 to Ina Belle and Cecil Parks. She was the youngest of 12 children. Her mom passed away in 1949 when Darlene was 7 years old, and her dad Cecil passed away in 1963.

Darlene was married in 1959 to the love of her life, (Armand) Joseph Tremblay, in Courval, SK. It was love at first sight. They went on to have 3 beautiful children: Dwain, Carol, and Reg. Darlene was married to Armand for 15 years before his passing in 1974 of ALS. It was very difficult for her when Armand got sick, she cared for him at home for 3 years until his passing. Darlene married Ted Beaudin in 1978 in Moose Jaw. Ted passed away in 2001.

Darlene was a very hard worker and always provided for her family. Her first job was cleaning houses in Moose Jaw. She then went to work at CanaDay’s as a seamstress after Armand passed away. She also went back to school to obtain her Grade 10 and carried on to working at Safeway for 20 years until she retired.  After retirement, Darlene spent time doing demo’s at Sobey’s until she finally retired in 2013.

Darlene loved being a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, starting in 1998 and was still a member when she passed. She was a Provincial President for one year and was the President of the Ladies Auxiliary Club 5 times. She spent many hours donating her time in the kitchen helping the Ladies Auxiliary Club.  Darlene loved fundraising for different charities over the years as part of the Eagles club, some of her charities included ALS, Diabetes, Alzheimer Societies just to name a few.

Darlene was a master of knitting, crocheting, and quilting. People knew her for her hand towels, dish cloths, blankets and quilts. She loved playing cards and was one of her favourite pastimes with family and friends.

Our Mom, Grandma and Nana Darlene will always hold such a special place in our hearts. She was a kind, loving, non-judgmental, selfless, generous person.  Her family will miss her dearly, but she will be with the angels in heaven and with her husband Armand once again.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bortolotti, Home Care, Palliative Care Nurses, and the CCA’s on Surgery at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital.
