John Coleshaw Sr.
December 19, 1929 – June 4, 2025
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dad, John Coleshaw Sr., at the age of 95. He was born in North Battleford, SK and recently was a resident of West Park Crossing in Moose Jaw, SK. John lived, married and worked most of his life in Regina, SK.
John worked at Ipsco in Regina where he started as a welder and finished his 35-year career as an executive. He played a big part in the growth of the company, including Ipsco Park and the Turvey Centre.
John had a passion for nature that he shared. He was a self-taught artist and wood carver. He created pieces inspired by nature that he shared with family and friends.
John is predeceased by his wife Clarice (Kiehl) and survived by his brother Bill Coleshaw and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was supported and loved by his family Debra and Arthur Godin, John Coleshaw Jr, Anna and Jeff Echols; grandchildren and great grandchildren TaraLee and Jason Houston, Pamela and Tyler Stordahl, Duke, Knox and Marie Pister and Dan Jardine, Trinity, Parker, Sarah Coleshaw Kurtz and Cody Kurtz, Jeremy, Drs. J.J. Coleshaw and Kaely Kronk.
No service will be held as per John’s wishes. Many thanks to the staff at West Park Crossing and Dr.F. H. Wigmore Hospital.
