They moved to Cote to farm and welcomed four children. In 1960 they purchased the Veregin Hotel and renamed it the Elk Hotel. Three years later they were blessed with their last child. In 1978 they sold the hotel, took a trip to Hawaii, then purchased Dog 'N' Suds which became known as P & V Eatery. The establishment was famous for its chicken and of course, P&V Borsh which was sold all over the province. Mom became an avid curler, winning many bonspiels and eventually participating in the Northern Senior Playdowns in Saskatoon. She also loved to entertain and was renowned for her hilarious skits performed at bonspiels and birthday parties. Retirement came in 2000 and in 2009 Mom moved to Lloydminster to be closer to family. She continued to entertain the tenants of Padua Place until the end of her residency. She was fun loving, young at heart and the life of the party and will be dearly missed by all. There will be a private internment held at Tambovka Cemetery.
