REGINA - Brian Sanders couldn't believe his eyes when he scanned his ticket for the Nov. 29 Lotto Max draw on the Lotto Spot app and revealed at $100,000 prize.

"No, that can't be right," Sanders said to himself. He tucked his ticket away and waited until later, when he scanned his ticket on the app again and it showed him the same prize.

"Oh my gosh, it's real!" he exclaimed.

The Regina local picked up his ticket from 7-Eleven Food Store at 1761 Dewdney Ave. E in Regina on the day before the draw and discovered his win a few days later.

"I remember thinking, 'What if I lose it? What if I lose it?" he recalled while claiming his prize.

The happy winner has a couple plans for his windfall.

"This will allow me to buy some property," he continued. "I've been getting close to retirement, so this will help me retire the way I want!"

Sanders won by matching the last six digits of the winning Extra number on the Nov. 29 Lotto Max draw - 2341043.
