SASKATCHEWAN — Ducks Unlimited Canada invites everyone to enjoy the exciting season of spring migration with them by joining their Migration Tracker project on iNaturalist, Canada's gateway to a global species data-sharing community.

Track your bird observations this spring and make important contributions to DUC’s wetland conservation mission while spending quality time outdoors.

From quiet prairie marshes to the vast boreal forest and from coastal wetlands to rolling grasslands, Ducks Unlimited Canada is making an impact on Canada’s most important and threatened habitats.

Identifying birds is fun and challenging, even for experts! DUC has a few tips to start the process.

  • Watch what it does when it eats
  • Watch how it takes off
  • Look at the surroundings
  • Examine its colour and plumage
