Dog park closure coming up

Ross Industrial Dog Park will be closed for three days, beginning Monday, July 21.

REGINA — If you are planning on taking your good boys and good girls for an outing at the Ross Industrial Dog Park next week, you will have to make alternate arrangements.

The park will be closed for three days, beginning Monday, July 21, while crews perform maintenance work on the nearby water pumping station and storage reservoirs. The park is scheduled to reopen on Thursday, July 24.

Where else can you go?

The City of Regina offers four other year-round off-leash dog parks.

  • Cathy Lauritsen Memorial Off-Leash Dog Park - 2110 Forget Street
  • Mount Pleasant Off-Leash Dog Park - 750 Winnipeg Street N
  • Māmowimīwēyitamōwin Park Off-Leash Dog Park - 3750 McKinley Avenue
  • Horizon Station Off-Leash Dog Park - 4701 E Buckingham Drive

Eight of Regina’s outdoor boarded rinks act as seasonal off-leash areas for your dogs. Seasonal areas open from May 1 to September 30 each year.
