REGINA — The City of Regina is extending the Wascana Pool season.
Per a press release, the pool will now be open until Sept. 28.
“The extended schedule ensures continued access to aquatic activities while the Lawson Aquatic Centre undergoes annual maintenance, which will result in closures to the strength and conditioning area (from Monday, August 18 to Sunday, August 24) and to the swimming pool (from Monday, August 18 to Sunday, September 28),” said the city.
Regina hopes more open hours at Wascana Pool will allow residents more opportunities for outdoor swimming, waterslides, the lap pool, hot tub and leisure pool as the Lawson undergoes annual maintenance.
