REGINA — A series of traffic restrictions are planned across Regina on Thursday as city crews and private contractors carry out repair and maintenance work on various infrastructure systems.
Fines Drive will be fully closed from Coleman Crescent to Thompson Avenue between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. for water system repairs.
Park Street will see a northbound lane restriction between 9th Avenue East and 10th Avenue East between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. as a private contractor completes road repairs.
Tregarva Drive will be closed between McGregor Place and Quance Street from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. while crews perform underground work.
Meanwhile, University Park Drive at Elderkin Drive will be restricted in both directions starting at 6 a.m. for a period of eight days while work continues in the area.
The City of Regina is advising motorists to plan ahead, consider alternate routes and slow down in construction zones for the safety of workers and all road users.
