Two charged in Stephanie Coady's death remain in custody

Regina Police Service and EMS responded to a home in the 1500 block of Cameron Street following reports of an injured woman.

REGINA – Two people charged in connection with the death of 42-year-old Stephanie Coady had appearances in Regina court on Monday.

Lyle Turcotte, 39, is charged with second-degree murder, while Brandi Schile, 39, faces a charge of accessory after the fact to murder.

Turcotte’s matter was adjourned to Aug. 25 to give him time to get counsel. Schile’s charges were adjourned to Aug. 25. Both remain in custody.

The charges stem from an incident on July 25, when Regina Police Service and EMS responded to a home in the 1500 block of Cameron Street following reports of an injured woman. Officers found Coady deceased at the scene.
