Whether you're new or returning, here are 10 helpful tips to get your semester off to a strong start.
1 – Attend orientation
Start your journey with confidence by joining one of our orientation options. Choose from self-guided orientation, live Zoom sessions or in-person events.
2 – Log into mySaskPolytech
mySaskPolytech is your personalized student portal. View grades, access online courses, check email, pay tuition and more.
3 – Explore Student Services
Need support or just want to know what’s available to you? Visit our Student Services page to discover resources that can enhance your student experience. Don’t forget to check out the events calendar and the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Student Association (SPSA) for student-led activities and events.
4 – Plan your commute
Whether you’re driving or taking public transit, visit our Parking and Transit page for details on parking access, maps and fees. Student parking passes are available via the HonkMobile app for daily, weekly and monthly rates.
5 – Book a locker
Keep your belongings secure by reserving a locker through mySaskPolytech. Learn more about locker rentals.
6 – Visit the Campus Store
Stock up on textbooks, supplies and Sask Polytech swag at the Campus Store. Shop online or in person.
7 – Connect with Library and Learning Services
Get ahead in your studies by tapping into Library Services and Learning Services. They offer resources and assistance to help you succeed. Connect early, don’t wait until exams!
8 – Register with Accessibility Services
If you require academic accommodations, register with Accessibility Services as soon as possible. Our team works with you to ensure equal access and support for your success.
9 – Prioritize wellness
Kick off the term with healthy habits! Check out our Fitness and Recreation page for activities and resources plus, download the Sask Polytech Fitness and Recreation app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Need someone to talk to? Make mental health a priority and access Counselling Services for free.
10 – Get social with @saskpolytech
