On the morning of Nov. 28, through a thick patch of fog and a road covered in black ice, five heavy equipment vehicles collided on Highway 13 at Arcola.

A new club volleyball team has been established in Arcola. With the interest of 25 girls in the in the prospect of a newly formed team Coach Eugene Brown was happy take on the task.

The Lampman School Drama has produced an absolutely hysterical piece titled, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. It was held on Nov. 23 and Nov. 24, but if anyone missed it last weekend they are able to take it in on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
