ASSINIBOIA - It will be a spooktacular weekend in Assiniboia right before Halloween, with a couple of events on the calendar.
A Halloween Costume Cabaret will be hosted by the Assiniboia Fire Rescue at the Prince of Wales Centre on Friday, October 28.
Tickets are $20. Advanced tickets are available at Chucks Collision’s, Southland Co-op Ag centre and NAPA. Tickets will be available at the door.
Music during the Halloween Costume Cabaret will be provided by Rhino’s Light and Sound. Residents are encouraged to attend the cabaret in their best costume, as there will be prizes available.
Grab your little goblins, ghouls, and jack-o-lanterns — all families are invited to attend a Community Halloween party on Sunday, October 30 at the new Southland Co-op Centre.
This event is hosted by the Town of Assiniboia and the Assiniboia Kinettes. All activities will be offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. During the Community Halloween Party, activities will include games, skating, virtual dodgeball and more.
There will be lots of frightfully delicious snacks made available.
Families are encouraged to wear their costumes.
