The longest-running model engineer show in North America celebrated a milestone, and many people turned out for the event. The 30th annual Estevan Model Engineer show attracted 50 exhibitors to the Wylie-Mitchell building on Saturday and Sunday.

Lorne Kwasnicki, Grand Knight of the local Knights of Columbus council, presented a donation of $350 to the Grasslands Health Centre towards its new tub system. Jackie Wolfe accepted the cheque on behalf of Grasslands.

The Assiniboia Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion made a donation of $4,000 to the Grasslands Health Centre in Rockglen on September 26.
