Great diversity of styles and mediums are featured at the Signal Hill Arts Centre Gallery's October exhibition of works by the Hill Top Painters and Weyburn Artists Workshop.

From watercolours to oils and acrylics, the paintings cover a myriad of subjects from still-life to landscapes, and florals to portraits. Heritage landmarks are also a popular theme with a little fantasy imagery to round it all out. Other mediums, such as scratch board art, wire and metal sculpture, mixed media, and pen and ink are all represented in wide ranges of subtle and bright colours.

Weyburn and area artists displaying pieces include Elnora Olan, Linda McMurdo, Rose Schmidt, Shelley VanDeSype, Erna Murray, Margaret Zelionka, Bonnie Kaip, Doris Anderson, Lois Olson, Roland Olson and Eileen Johnson.

This creative display by multiple artists can be viewed during regular Signal Hill Art Centre (SHAC) office hours, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Friday. The exhibition is open for public viewing until the end of October

Both the Hill Top Painters and Weyburn Artists Workshop members are welcoming new members and fresh talent. The Hill Top Painters meet at SHAC every Tuesday morning (except the third week of the month) between 9 a.m. and noon. The Weyburn Artists Workshop meets from 10:30 a.m. to noon every third Tuesday.
