Students, co-op support Estevan Salvation Army

Students from the Estevan Comprehensive School's senior boys' and girls' volleyball team made a presentation to the Salvation Army on Thursday.

ESTEVAN - The Estevan Salvation Army's food bank received some support on Thursday.

Students from the Estevan Comprehensive School Elecs senior boys' and girls' volleyball teams brought in donations of food and money that were collected in the Co-op Challenge games versus Weyburn.

The school raised $1,200 for the food bank during home games on Oct. 11, and the Southern Plains Co-op matched the amount. Students also brought 121 pounds of food.
