On July 30, RCMP in Carlyle were called to a motorcycle accident that had occurred approximately 10.7 kms south of Redvers, SK on Highway #8. Redvers Emergency Medical Services also attended. The operator, a 47 year-old male, was deceased at the scene after failing to negotiate a curve in the highway. Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the accident. The name is not being released by police as next of Kin notification is ongoing.
