Update: Environment Canada has lifted the severe thunderstorm watch for southeast Saskatchewan.
The initial watch was issued at 11:15 a.m. Saturday for the southeas - the first such watch of this year. Estevan received a thunderstorm shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
There was also a severe thunderstorm warning for the Estevan and Carlyle areas as well.
The watch for the Carlyle area ended at 3:15 p.m.
