ESTEVAN - Members of the Estevan Police Service attended to a two-vehicle collision in the Petterson Drive and King Street area on Sunday. One of the drivers was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Charges are pending at this time.

Over the weekend, police arrested a 36-year-old man for breaching conditions of a previous release order. He was remanded for court on Monday.

The EPS received a call at about 5 p.m. on Sunday of an erratic driver coming into the city. The driver was reportedly crossing into oncoming lanes and travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was located and a 30-year-old man from Prince Albert was arrested. The man is facing several charges including impaired driving, refusing to provide samples of breath and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. He was held in cells until he was sober then released with a September court date.

Police arrested a 33-year-old Moose Jaw man for assault and breaching condition of a release order. He was remanded into custody and will appear in court Monday morning.

Police were also called about a stolen vehicle. A report was issued Monday through the Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network, but was later repealed, as the vehicle was recovered and it wasn't stolen.
