Manor holds first annual Christmas concert

The community of Manor held a Christmas concert at the United Church on Sunday, Dec. 19th. Many people young and old came out to enjoy the entertainment provided by members of the community. Albert Dunn was the emcee for the afternoon.

The community of Manor held a Christmas concert at the United Church on Sunday, Dec. 19th.

Many people young and old came out to enjoy the entertainment provided by members of the community.

Albert Dunn was the emcee for the afternoon.

Dunn welcomed everyone and then started the afternoon off with everyone in the audience singing "Joy to the World".

Presley Onufreychuk and Chelssea Slykhuis sang and danced their way through "Santa Clause is Coming to Town", Cooper Fox then entertained the crowd with some fancy guitar music.

Jamie Brimmner, Vicki Akins and Julie Daisly all sang solos.

Desiree Riddell tapped her way through a song she choreographed herself, and another group of young girls including Trista Kennett, Kenzie Carley, Destiny Riddell and Shaelynn Mills entertained the crowdwith their song "Jingle Bell Rock."

Tiana Kennett played a Christmas song on her flute.

Alice Zimmerman also entertained us with some readings.

Throughout the concert the audience was encouraged to join in and sing some carols led by MichelleMoore onthe organ.

After the concert everyone enjoyed coffee and Christmas baking downstairs.
