ESTEVAN - The Saskatchewan Health Authority has announced a temporary disruption to obstetric services at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

In a news release issued on Thursday evening, the SHA said a temporary disruption to obstetric services at the hospital is underway.

It will continue until 8 a.m. on Aug. 8.

During this time, patients requiring obstetrical care will be directed to Regina General Hospital or Yorkton Regional Health Centre.

Only emergency obstetrical services will be available during this time.

The disruption is due to a temporary staffing shortage.
