Regina police searching for missing 12-year-old girl

Regina police are seeking information related to the whereabouts of Shylah McKay, 12, last seen on Sunday.

REGINA — The Regina Police service has issued a request to the public for help locating a 12-year-old girl reported missing on Sunday. 

Shylah McKay was last seen on Oct. 17 at approximately 8:30 p.m., at a residence in the 2900 block of 26th Avenue.

McKay is described as 5’2” and 100 pounds, with a thin build. She has short, wavy black hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a black hoodie with “Love is Blind” in red writing on the font, black and green leggings, and black sneakers.

Police said McKay is believed to have left the home on foot, and that while there is no evidence she has come to harm, she is considered at risk due to her age.
