Water pours out in a small stream off the grounds of the South Weyburn Community Centre on Apr. 12, as mild temperatures caused the snowpack throughout the countryside to melt and start running. In this case, the water cut a channel into the ditch and flowed into an adjacent farmyard. Streams and rivers around the southeast were also flowing high, with the Long Creek overflowing its banks and causing widespread flooding in the town of Radville, and overflowing some area roads as well.
