The report of this week covers the period of Nov. 12 to 18. The detachment assisted with 39 calls during that time period.

November 12

The detachment received a call from the area advising that a resident had trashed his room and the complainant wanted him picked up. When the police arrived, the 19-year-old had already left the home. No charges were laid in the matter.

RCMP attended to a motor vehicle accident with cow on highway #13 near Redvers. The vehicle was left in the middle of the road as a result of the incident. Major damage was sustained to the front of the vehicle. No injuries resulted from the incident.

The detachment received a call from an intoxicated individual outside of Dairy Queen requesting a ride.

RCMP received a false alarm call to a residence in Redvers. The call was cancelled by the key holder and police attendance was not required.

The detachment received a 911 call from the Kisbey area. The complainant was calling regarding an assault. The matter is still being investigated.

November 13

RCMP received a request to locate a 14-year-old individual that was put on a bus in Lloydminster with the destination of Regina. The individual was located in North Battleford.

RCMP received an open line 911 call. The address was shown as a residence in the area. Members contacted the individuals at the residence and the individual requested a ride to the detachment to provide fingerprints for a pardon. The individual was told it was a misuse of 911 services and was informed that he could be charged as a result.

November 14

A member attended and spoke at length to substance abuse at a Carlyle Cadet meeting. Approximately 25 air cadets were in attendance and the talk was well received.

A 911 call was received. The complainant advised that an individual was intoxicated and kicking at the door. Members attended and the individual had gone to bed. No further police assistance was required.

RCMP received a report of a minor fender bender in a parking lot in Carlyle. One vehicle backed into a parked car. The report was made for insurance purposes.

An individual attended the detachment with a wallet found on 2nd Street West in Carlyle. From identification within the wallet, the owner was contacted and the wallet was returned.

A 911 noise complaint was received from an individual in Arcola. Members found four youth in a stolen truck from Moose Jaw. The youth were arrested, lodged, and interviewed. Charges were laid against a 14-year-old and 15-year-old before being released to a Justice of the Peace. The youth will be attending court in the near future.

November 15

Police received a complaint of two intoxicated individuals at a house in the area. Members attended and the assistance of police was no longer required.

RCMP received a complaint of a possible intoxicated driver in the area. Members attended and were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

The detachment received a call concerning a motor vehicle accident with a deer three miles east of Kisbey on highway #13. The vehicle was drivable and removed from the scene. No injuries resulted from the incident.

RCMP received a complaint of an individual released on probation with conditions, who was causing problems at the bar in Redvers. Several patrons had left as a result. Members attended and the individual had already left the building.

Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident in the area. The vehicle had hit ice and collided with another vehicle. The vehicle was not drivable and needed towed. No injuries resulted from the incident.

A false alarm from a residence in Wawota was received. While en route, police were advised by the alarm company that it was a false call.

November 16

A 911 call was received. When members called back, someone would pick up the phone and hang up right away. Members attended and everything was OK. No assistance was required.

RCMP received a complaint of criminal harassment from the area. The matter is still under investigation.

A 911 static call was received from a residence in Redvers. The individual was contacted and police were advised that SaskTel was to be fixing the issue.

RCMP received a call of an intoxicated individual at a residence in the area. Members attended and spoke with the complainant who informed them that the individual had left the building. No charges were laid.

The RCMP hosted a booth on illicit drugs at the Health Fair held at White Bear Education Complex. Members also provided a presentation to students in grades six to 12, in addition to a number of adults that were in attendance.

RCMP received a complaint concerning a 56-year-old individual that was intoxicated and on probation. The subject was found intoxicated at the bar and was arrested on breech of probation and has been remanded in jail until court next week.

Police received a call or an erratic driver going eastbound on highway #13. The complainant advised that the vehicle had cut her off. The registered owner was sent a letter advising of the issue and warning against the consequences of erratic driving.

November 17

Members received a complaint of an intoxicated individual in a residence. Members attended and the male had already left. Patrols were made and the matter is still under investigation as the individual has been released on conditions of no alcohol use.

RCMP received a complaint that a 44-year-old female had left a house extremely intoxicated. Members attended and found the female and convinced her to return home. The individual was advised that if there were any additional calls regarding her behaviour, she would be housed in cells until sober.

Police responded to a 911 call concerning a single vehicle rollover on the 605 grid near Kisbey. An individual was taken to hospital and no charges were laid as weather was a major factor in the incident.

The detachment received a 911 call from the area advising that an individual at the residence was intoxicated and trying to fight. Members attended and the individual had left the building. No injuries were reported and no charges were laid.

A false alarm from a residence in Redvers was received. When calling back, police were advised the owner had forgotten the password and his wife was on her way to turn the alarm off.

November 18

RCMP received information in regards to a person driving without a license somewhere between Wawota and highway #9. Patrols were made, however the vehicle was unable to be located.

The detachment received a report of a 22-year-old female who had lost her ID. When she went to SGI to obtain a new driver's license, she was told to report it to the RCMP.

The detachment received a report of a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident in the area. Roads were extremely slippery and vehicles hit head-on at a low speed. No injuries resulted from the incident and no charges were laid.

Members attended to a gas-and-dash in Carlyle. The matter is still continuing.
