Carlyle RCMP received 45 calls between Sept. 23 and 29. Incidents are published in the order in which they appear in police files. -Arcola hospital requested the RCMP to locate a relative of two patients.

Carlyle RCMP received 45 calls between Sept. 23 and 29. Incidents are published in the order in which they appear in police files.

-Arcola hospital requested the RCMP to locate a relative of two patients. Members located the individual and advised them of the hospital's request.

-A local business advised police of an intoxicated male. Members arrested the individual and lodged him in cells.

-A caller from the area reported two males, ages 22 and 27, who were intoxicated and trying to gain access to the complainant's home. When members arrived, the two males had already left the scene.

-Students requested a visit by the RCMP to Manor school, to talk about drugs and alcohol. A senior member attended and gave a talk, which was much appreciated by students and staff.

-A complaint was received from Manor after teens were heard playing loud music from a vehicle. Members patrolled but the vehicle had left the area.

-A vehicle was stopped by members on highway 9. The roadside screening device gave a reading that caused police to take the driver to the detachment for a more detailed breath test. The subject failed two tests and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, and also with driving over the limit of .08.

-A hit and run was reported in Arcola and forms were filled out for insurance purposes.

-A complaint was received with regard to quads being raced in Manor. Members attended but the quads were gone on their arrival.

-A caller reported the theft of their vehicle. Later they called back to advise that a friend had hidden it.

-A 911 caller reported fluid leaking from a commercial vehicle. The truck was located at its depot, and company representatives agreed to clean up the vehicle of the original caller.

-A grass fire along the railroad tracks east of Carlyle was reported. The caller believed a spark from a passing train had started the blaze. The fire department attended and requested police presence for traffic control.

-A Carlyle citizen turned in a cell phone they had found.

-Police were called to a single vehicle rollover near Arcola. The driver was found to be impaired, and although taken to hospital, was also arrested. The 30-year-old male is facing charges of driving while impaired.

-A business reported that an intoxicated male was walking along highway 9. Members located the individual, but he resisted arrest and fled. After being apprehended and arrested, the 18-year-old was charged with two counts of breaching an undertaking, public intoxication and resisting arrest.

-A boat was stolen from a dock on a local lake during the evening of the 25th. The joy riders returned it, but failed to tie it up. It was found adrift in the middle of the lake. There are no suspects and no witnesses. The case is concluded.

-A false alarm at a residence in Carlyle, was set off by a dog triggering the motion detector.

-A complaint was received regarding a vehicle driving all over the road. Members investigated and spoke with the driver. He explained he was not from the area and was looking at the oil activities. Members advised him to keep his attention on the road.

-A hit and run was reported in Carlyle for insurance purposes.

-An early morning patrol on Highway 48 beside Wawota, resulted in three people being ticketed for speeding in the 70 km zone.

-A complaint was received after tires were slashed on a car parked overnight in a farm yard. Investigations continue.

-The Town of Carlyle asked the police to assist in the removal of a trailer that was blocking an access road.

-A 911 caller reported an oil battery fire near Manor. The local fire department attended. There were no injuries.

-A 911 call was received when an unwanted person refused to leave a residence. During the call, the individual left. Police were no longer needed.

-A person complained of garbage being dumped on their land in Manor.

-An impaired driver was arrested following reports of their erratic driving, west of Carlyle. They were charged with driving while intoxicated, and driving over the legal limit. A passenger was also given a $360 fine for having open alcohol in the truck.

- A truck was reported as damaged after driving through a field. SGI had requested a police report.

-Police are on the lookout for a 14-year-old male who went missing from his home in the area. He was last reported as being given a lift to Whitewood.

-The RM of Moose Mountain reported damage to a bridge by heavy equipment. The call was for information purposes, should the driver of the vehicle wish to file a report.
