Nearly 700 people were served at the fowl supper on November 29 and all proceeds went to support SRC activities.
"Thanks to everyone who supplied food, the volunteers and the guests who came out to support this very worthwhile project," said Bob King.
The Biology 30 students will be presenting a Health and Anatomy Symposium in the Cafetorium on December 12 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. The focus will be on organs and body systems, how to keep them healthy and how they function together. All are welcome to attend as this educational and interactive experience is for all ages.
Christmas music concerts at the high school will be held on December 13 with Band performances and December 14 for Choral performances. Each show starts at 7:30 in the Cafetorium. Admission is $5.00 and reserved tickets can be purchased at the school.
Due to the shortened school year, all semester 1 final exams will be held from December 19 to 23. Classes resume for the second semester on January 5, 2012.
