The Family Place wrapped up its annual fundraiser, The Festival of Trees, on November 24 with a Live Auction Gala and the commencement of the Silent Auction.

A total of 29 trees were donated this year, with two being raffled and four going to silent auction in addition to the 110 donated silent auction items. The Family Place is still receiving donations, but the organization has so far raised more than $41,000.

Patrons of the Festival of Trees voted for their Favourite Tree and the winner was Decadent Delight, which was donated by Key Well Servicing. This tree also sold for the highest amount of all the auctioned trees that evening, selling for $2050.

Voters could also name their Favourite Silent Auction item, which was Lullaby & Goodnight Cradle by Debi and Jack Giroux.
