UPDATE: Weyburn RCMP seek public’s help to solve theft, B&E

RCMP are looking for help from the public for a B&E at the Beaubier Co-op over the weekend.

WEYBURN – The Weyburn-Radville-Fillmore RCMP detachments asked for the public’s assistance with two recent crimes in the area, with one of the crimes now solved.

Police reported a burgundy Dodge Ram 1500 truck with black rims was stolen from Griffin some time overnight on Monday. Late Tuesday afternoon, the RCMP reported that a member of the public had located the truck.

RCMP also reported that the Beaubier Co-op was broken into in the early morning hours on Sunday. Items stolen included cigarettes and the safe.

A similar theft occurred in Corning at the end of October.
