The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints has two missionaries in town who are here to help in the community where they can.

Lawrence Bisson constructs one of three new community gardens the city will install near Signal Hill on Wednesday. The gardens will be available for use this summer, though there is already a waiting list.

Today, the Department of Public Works and Engineering is digging on the 1700 block of 98th Street for a suspected leaking main stop. Water will be shut off on the 1700 block of 98th for most of the day starting around 9:00am.

The 1100 block of 101st Street is open once again after a water main repair. Today, the City will be digging a leaking curb stop on the 1300 block of 98th Street. The block will be barricaded off for most of the day.

With the Warm Welcome program starting up last year, providing an overnight stay for Estevan's homeless, it has since grown as a vehicle of transformation for both the guests and the many volunteers who spend their nights with them.
