Bantam Chargers down Jaguars, Prairie Storm

The Estevan Female bantam A Power Dodge Chargers improved their record to 3-0-0 with a pair of home wins over the weekend. The Chargers got by the Regina Jaguars on Saturday by a count of 7-4.

The Estevan Female bantam A Power Dodge Chargers improved their record to 3-0-0 with a pair of home wins over the weekend.


The Chargers got by the Regina Jaguars on Saturday by a count of 7-4. Leading the way for Estevan were Brooklyn Dukart and Madison Colbow with two goals each. Hailey Dukart, Ashley Chapman and Taylor Colbow also scored for the Chargers, while Brianna Cote made 21 saves, and got the win between the pipes.


Estevan continued its winning ways on Sunday with a 4-2 triumph over the Prairie Storm. Goaltender Tamara Irwin was stellar for the Chargers, stopping 25 of 27 shots, while Hailey Dukart, Jessica Pele, Madison Colbow and Kayla Grube all found the back of the net.


The Chargers next game will be this Saturday at the Lignite Miners Centre. They'll do battle with the Lumsden/Bethune Lions at 5:30 p.m.
