CARLYLE - The Carlyle U11 Cougars took to the ice this past weekend for the first time this season against the Redvers Rockets.
The team started off a little rusty and trailed early, but battled all afternoon and really dug in, making it quite the game. When the final buzzer sounded, it was 12-9 for Redvers.
The Cougars’ offence was led by Griffin Eaton and Grayson Bloomfield, who each notched three goals and impressed with their skill.
Trypp Flemming, Colton Dixon and Boston Shire also scored.
The Cougars next game action is a tournament in Estevan the weekend of Nov. 26.
