ESTEVAN - The Estevan U11 Vipers won the Moose Mountain Minor Hockey League title on Sunday.

The Vipers won the league title 4-3 over the Estevan Predators Sunday in the league final.

The Estevan Vipers finished 1st overall in the league and went into the playoff weekend and brought the first MMMHL league championship to Estevan at the U11 level.

Throughout the season, the Vipers had great defence and a strong offence, scoring 285 goals and only allowing 49 to finish with an 18-1 regular season record.

Eight teams out of the 14 qualified for the playoff weekend and all four Estevan teams were in the top eight.
