Estevan U18 provincial Bruins third in North Dakota tournament

Estevan defeated three American teams in the tournament.

ESTEVAN - The Estevan U18 Bruins provincial team finished third at the Lee Haugen Memorial Tournament in Grand Forks, N.D., from Jan. 27-29.  

Estevan opened the tournament with a pair of lopsided wins over U.S. teams: 14-1 over Dickenson and 10-1 over Minot. Their lone loss of the weekend was 3-0 against Aberdeen.  

In the B event final, Estevan beat the Grand Forks Stallions 5-1 to finish third overall.
