Former Red Wings run athletic training camp

Former Red Wings Preston Shupe and Kyle Haines, both of Weyburn, have returned from school in the United States - where they also play competitive hockey - to train other local athletes this summer.

Former Red Wings Preston Shupe and Kyle Haines, both of Weyburn, have returned from school in the United States - where they also play competitive hockey - to train other local athletes this summer.

The pair is offering a camp called Top Notch Training "Athletes Training Athletes," which is held mostly indoors at Olympia Fitness. The camp also has an outdoor portion in front of Olympia Fitness and occasionally at the Weyburn Comprehensive School track.

The young athletes currently have 26 participants signed up to learn a lot about athletic training and work hard. They meet Monday through Thursday from 4:15 to 6 p.m. each day with smaller groups.
