Weyburn Gold Wings to support Keller family with 50/50

The Gold Wings will be donating the proceeds of their home opener 50/50 to the family of former Gold Wing player Tessa Wilson, in memory of her cousin, Peyton Keller, who passed away tragically on September 25 at the age of 14.

WEYBURN -- The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Gold Wings home opener is Saturday, Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Point Place. It will be game one of back-to-back action against the Saskatoon Stars, as the Gold Wings also host Saskatoon on Sunday, October 10 at 1 p.m.

The Gold Wings will be donating the proceeds of their home opener 50/50 to the family of former Gold Wing player Tessa Wilson, in memory of her cousin, Peyton Keller, who passed away tragically on September 25 at the age of 14. Southampton Farms Ltd. and Sjostrand Farms are guaranteeing a $2,000 pot for the 50/50.

Residents who would like to purchase a ticket, but are unable to attend the game, can send payment to goldwingtreasurer@gmail.com with their name before 1 p.m. on Saturday and the Weyburn Gold Wings will assign you tickets.

Residents are reminded that due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn in Crescent Point Place while attending the Gold Wing home games.
