Maryfield Sunrise Villa news

Another week has come and gone and we are enjoying more summer-like weather, which finds a few people more outside enjoying the courtyard, watching the tulips and daffodils bloom and seeing the leaves opening up almost before our eyes.

Another week has come and gone and we are enjoying more summer-like weather, which finds a few people more outside enjoying the courtyard, watching the tulips and daffodils bloom and seeing the leaves opening up almost before our eyes.

The grass has been cut, making everything more colorful than the winter drab.

We were very pleased to have some entertainment this week in the courtyard.  Nine-year-old Tydus Neufeld and seven-year-old sister Annabel Neufeld played us several selections on their violins and did so well. Their mother Marla works here.

Also their music teacher Komella Ens played several hymns that were so beautiful, what a treat. Komella worked here a few years ago and she took several requests from the residents. Thank you for coming, we so enjoyed it.

We also had courtyard singing with Mary Thiessen on her guitar on May 12.

Things are starting to open up a little more for visitors.
