Annette Louise Newton, born on August 14, 1945, passed away on January 5, 2012 at the age of 66 years. Annette was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Alice Carlson and two brothers, Randy and Gary. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Monica (Dave) Nepinak of Red Deer, AB, Angie (Rob) Schick of Blackfalds, AB, Shannon Newton of Blackfalds, AB, Jeff Newton of Midale and Jen (Carey) Just of Ardrossan, AB; grandchildren: Robyn (Shane), Amanda (Logan), Megan (Tanner), Kyle and Andrew; great grandchildren: Ashton, Chelsey and Luke; brothers and sisters, Jane (Norm) Hurren of Halbrite, George (Barb) Carlson of Midale, Tim (Heather) Carlson of Midale, Kim Carlson of Midale and Sandra Carlson of Midale, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 11 from Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn with Marian Huber officiating. Active pallbearers were, Scott Stabenow, Brent Olmstead, Vernon Carlson, Gary Miller, Roger Hauglum and Chris Messer. Interment followed at Westphalia Cemetery, Midale.
