Patricia Gail Johnston passed away suddenly on December 22, 2011 at the age of 52 years. Pat was born December 2, 1959 in Weyburn. She grew up on a farm at Talmage. Pat moved with her family to Weyburn in 1972. This is where she met Bill Johnston and they were married in August 1976. Pat lived the remainder of her life in Weyburn, where she and Bill raised their two children, Nicole and Greg. Pat and Bill owned and operated a successful photography business for many years. Pat was well known for her pleasant personality and cheerful smile. In most recent times Pat shared her life with Elroy, her best friend and companion, travelling and spending time at the lake. Pat was beautiful inside and out, a very loving, caring woman with a huge heart who always had a smile and hug for everyone. Her family meant the world to her and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Pat had a fascination with Marilyn Monroe and had a huge collection of memorabilia. She tried scrapbooking and realized she had a knack for it and loved to do that in her spare time. Pat was an animal lover and would have had a pet of every kind if she had the space. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Ernie and Reitta Tollefson. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Woodard (Ken Thideman) and their family, Keegan, Shaelyn and Chloe of Weyburn; her son, Greg (Carla) Johnston and their family, Ashtyn, Presley, Taylor, Morgyn and Jordyn of Weyburn; the father of her children, Bill Johnston of Weyburn; her best friend and companion in life, Elroy Ulmer; one brother, Glenn (Debbie) Tollefson of Weyburn; one sister, Sherry (Neill) Jenson of Duchess, AB and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on December 27 at Knox Presbyterian Church, Weyburn with Reverend John Ferrier presiding. Pat was buried alongside her parents at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn.
